1 day ago The Temptations launched in Detroit in 1960 with Otis Williams, David Ruffin, Melvin Franklin, Paul Williams and Eddie Kendricks. Their hit songs were My Girl, The Way You Do the Things You Do. And truly this very thing is to this dayof such weight and awe upon me, that I dare not, when I come before the Lord, gooff my knees, until I entreat Him for help and mercy against the temptations thatare to come; and I do beseech thee, reader, that thou learn to beware of my negligence,by the affliction that for this thing I did for days,. My interpreter collapsed, cried like a little boy. I mean, not just sobbing, he cried like a little baby. My interpreter had become my interrupter, so I had to pause and suddenly, I heard the Holy Spirit in my heart and he said, ‘my word in your mouth is just as powerful as my word in my mouth.’ At first, it sounded to me like heresy.
